Raffaella Rossin, PhD
Head of Discovery
Raffaella, a founder of Tagworks, has longstanding experience in radiolabeling and in vitro/in vivo testing of small molecules, antibodies and nanoparticles. From 2008-2015, she worked as senior radiochemist at Philips Research, with primary focus on molecular imaging and drug delivery projects. In this role, she was instrumental in developing the In Vivo Chemistry program that now forms the basis of Tagworks Pharmaceuticals. Prior to joining Philips, she worked for five years at the School of Medicine of Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, as a postdoctoral research associate and as a research instructor in radiochemistry and nuclear imaging.
Raffaella obtained her M.Sc. in organic chemistry and Ph.D. in radiochemistry at the University of Padova, Italy. She has published over 60 peer-reviewed papers, reviews and book chapters and is a co-inventor on 17 patents.
