To further strengthen the organization, we are looking for a (Sr.) Research Associate Chemistry
The position
As (Sr.) Research Associate Chemistry you are part of a team of Scientists and Research Associates with whom you closely collaborate. You bring up-to-date experience with protein bioconjugations. You analyze and characterize conjugates, using techniques like size-exclusion chromatography (SEC), hydrophobic interaction chromatography (HIC) and SDS-PAGE. You also contribute to the isolation and purification of the conjugates by using HIC, SEC and other chromatographic and filtration techniques. You support lab activities like stability or compatibility studies. You bring knowledge of lab procedures to ensure that our laboratory operations run smoothly and safely. You perform your work in small project teams focusing on developing our next generation ADCs in an expanding laboratory environment. You document your lab work accurately and write protocols and SOPs.
The requirements
You keep a BSc or MSc education in Organic Chemistry and bring a minimum of 3 years work experience in either biotech/pharma or at CROs. Experience with developing therapeutic ADCs and/or click chemistry is favorable. You are experienced in bioconjugations, SEC, HIC and other chromatographic techniques. You bring experience in purification and characterization of protein-drug conjugates. You are self-starting, well-organized and can handle several projects simultaneously. You are service-oriented and you conduct your work with precision and accuracy. You have excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset when working effectively with research partners and/or CROs. You are able to work according to tight timelines while keeping your flexibility.
