Program Manager
The position
As our Program Manager you are responsible for managing Tagworks’ development program with the aim of bringing our novel therapeutics and technology to market. You work in close partnership with all functional areas, including research, development, CMC, finance and clinical operations to develop and implement the company goals and strategy. You manage internal governance activities such as program reviews, coordination of content for Board meetings, and setting, tracking, and reporting of corporate goals. You collaborate with cross-functional teams to create integrated plans that define goals, milestones, critical path, timeline, risks, assumptions, alternative scenarios, and budgets. You conduct regular project meetings and produce project meeting minutes and action lists. You effectively communicate with Leadership on project and program strategy, you generate regular reports/dashboards summarizing key metrics, highlighting risks, and reporting progress toward milestones. Finally, you anticipate, propose and support development and scaling of stage-appropriate capabilities, tools, staffing, and processes as the company’s program portfolio continues to grow.
The requirements
We expect our Program Manager to keep an MSc or PhD qualification in biomedical or biochemical sciences (or equal by experience). A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus. You are an energetic and entrepreneurial leader with 10+ years of experience in program management through discovery, preclinical research & manufacturing, IND filing, and early- to mid-stage clinical development. Experience with biologics development is preferred, ideally in oncology. You are able to exercise independent judgement and strategic thinking to improve outcomes and desire to work effectively across all levels of the organization. You are proficient in working with MS Office and project management and collaboration tools (e.g. Powerpoint, Excel, MS Project, SharePoint, MS Teams etc.). You can travel both domestically and internationally. Finally, you have outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English.
